At The Dyas Lishman Dance Academy our staff are fully qualified dance teachers across many disciplines in order to ensure your children, our students, get the best from their time at dance.
SHAUNA DYAS

PRINCIPAL
Miss Shauna started dancing at the age of 2. At 16 she started her training at KS Dance in Warrington with Miss Kate Simmons and Miss Gillian Hurst, who are both senior examiners in Cecchetti Ballet. Miss Shauna graduated with her DDE in Cecchetti Ballet, Tap Dance and Modern Theatre along with a Level 6 Diploma in Dance. After graduating she went to perform on cruise ships travelling all around the world. On her return she began teaching and has since furthered her qualifications in Ballet and Tap to Licentiate level.
SOPHIE LISHMAN
AISTD DDE (MT TD) IDTA (BT) L4DIP
PRINCPIAL
Miss Sophie started dancing at the age of 5 at her local dance school. She battled for many years between football and dance but eventually dance won and she left her dance school with her Intermediate in Modern, Tap & Ballet. She started assisting in classes at the age of 15 when she made the decision to become a dance teacher. At 18 she went onto North Liverpool Dance Academy under the guidance of Miss Cathi Conroy-Jones, Fellow & Triple ISTD examiner. In this time Miss Sophie gained her DDE in Modern & Tap and her Level 4 in IDTA Ballet.
